This customer came to us wanting a few specific things:

• No tub spaced wasted on dual batteries
• Need minimum 200Ah battery power
• A vehicle that would serve as his day-to-day but also an epic tourer that can get him off-grid

And oh boy, did we deliver!

Let's start with the heart of this build...

200Ah Lithium Battery by Custom Lithium

Not only are these guys located down the highway in Brisbane, but they make an extremely high-quality battery.

Weighing in at only 18kg and backed by a 5-year warranty.

They are designed to fit into those tight spots and are designed with durability and longevity in mind.

Moving on, let's chat the charging system....

RedArc BCDC1240D Core 

Look no further for an in-vehicle DC charger. RedArc leads the way in most 12v things but their chargers really do stand out.

Keeping with the Made In Australia theme, these chargers are built in Australia for Australian conditions and come with a 3-year warranty if purchased from and installed by us (yep, a bonus 1-year warranty).

This unit is super compact and offers reliability when it comes to vehicle and solar charging. A really cool feature that not all DC charges have is that this charge features 'Green Power Priority' 

'Green Power Priority is used to describe the priority given to a solar input when charging an auxiliary battery in your vehicle. For example, if a solar power input is available the maximum available solar power will be used before topping up the output charge current from another power source. Priority is given to the solar input then to AC Mains power (where applicable), then to DC Vehicle Power, the advantage of this is that it places less load on the alternator.' - RedArc

Victron SmartShunt 

To keep the system as compact as possible, we advised the customer to opt for the Victron SmartShunt, a simple yet ideal way to monitor everything. 

Download the app, be within Bluetooth range, and BAM—everything you need to know about your 12v system is right there on your mobile.

The app will show you Battery voltage, Current, State of Charge %, and aux input.

It's that simple. The Victron SmartShunt is reliable, easy to use, and takes up minimal space. It's the obvious choice for lithium battery monitoring.

2000w Inverter by Enerdrive 

These are tried and true. I wouldn't even have a number off the top of my head with how many of these we have installed over the years. They are fantastic inverters at a reasonable price point for quality, and they have a solid 5-year warranty. 
It's a little bulky compared to other inverters, but it still fits perfectly behind the seat.

Well, that's all the fun stuff. Let's touch on a few other installed parts.

Everything Else 

• The customer socket box in the rear
• He wired up their existing solar panel located on the top of his rooftop tent
• Wired up some existing lights onto switches
