Looking to upgrade your caravan to lithium without breaking the bank? We recently completed an awesome entry-level lithium conversion on this Roadstar Caravan, perfect for short stays, weekenders, or extended off-grid trips.

🔋 Power That Performs – Invicta Black Batteries

At the heart of this system are 2x Invicta Black 200Ah lithium batteries. This new range from Invicta delivers a more budget-friendly lithium option without compromising on safety or performance. These batteries:

• Feature built-in Bluetooth monitoring via the Invicta app

• Are rated to IP65 for dust and water resistance

• Are backed by a 5-year warranty

• Meet IEC 62919 international safety standards

They’re the ideal choice for anyone upgrading from AGM to lithium who wants reliable performance at a lower cost.

⚡️ 240V Power On Tap – 2600W Inverter

We’ve installed a Enerdrive 2600W Inverter, giving this van full 240V capability. From air cons and induction cooktops to kettles and air fryers—this system will handle it all with ease.

☀️ 760W of Solar + Victron Smart Control

To keep those batteries charged, the roof now hosts 4x 190W Enerdrive Solar Panels, feeding into a Victron MPPT solar regulator—one of our favourite options for managing lithium charging and solar performance.

🧊 Upgrades for Comfort & Compliance

We didn’t stop at power. This build also includes:

• A new Dometic Air Conditioner, wired into the inverter system

• A Four Seasons Roof Hatch to boost airflow and reduce rattles

• A Enerdrive 40A DC2DC Charger for 12V charging while towing

• A Enerdrive 40A AC Charger for keeping topped up on mains

• An EPRO Plus Battery Monitor for easy in-van monitoring

• Remote inverter switch for quick and easy 240V access

All lithium batteries are enclosed in a sealed and vented battery box, compliant with the latest safety regulations, with a one-way valve venting gases directly outside the van.

🛠️ Final Touches

To wrap things up, we also:

• Fitted a new breakaway battery

• Sorted out flickering light issues caused by old wiring gremlins

• Completed a full system check to ensure everything runs seamlessly
