Hipcamp is a mobile app and website that offers outdoor stays and camping experiences. Private landowners primarily list campsites, glamping sites, RV spaces and even cabins for users to book to stay at. 

You can filter the app to find your ideal camping spot, by changing the listing description, the location, the activities offered, and the amenities etc.

HipCamp is 100% free to sign up to, if you're looking for camping spots to stay at across Australia. When you've found the campsite you want, all you need to do is select your preferred dates, pay the cost of the booking, and you're good to go. 

It's almost like Airbnb - but purely for campers!

2. Wiki Camps Australia - $3.99 

WikiCamps is a dynamic user generated camping app for Australia. All sites are added, edited and shared by users like yourself! The database is constantly growing and always being updated with the latest information about sites from all over Australia.

Night Sky is a stargazing reference app that provides an easy and interactive way to explore the sky. 

The user can explore a virtual representation of the night sky to identify stars, planets, constellations and satellites.

Connecting people to the outdoors, AllTrails is a free mobile fitness and travel app used for finding hiking trails and other outdoor recreational activities such as mountain biking, climbing and snow sports. 

The app allows it's users to access a database of trail maps, and leave reviews and images on each trail, so you can find the best hikes around where you're staying. 

AllTrails have curated over 200,000 trail maps around the world, with over 7,000 of them being in Australia! 

The Premium Subscription allows users to use the app while offline as well as online.
