Description

This kit features a pre-wired ARB brushless air compressor mounted behind the rear seats, paired with a custom socket cubby on the passenger side that houses your air chuck, compressor switch, USBs, 12V sockets, and Anderson plugs. Built into our largest behind-seat tray and combined with a slim 100Ah Invicta lithium battery, it delivers serious air and power without touching your tray or floor space.

We now offer our 200Ah tray kit paired with the 100Ah Invicta Super Slim battery — fully pre-wired and ready to install but without the ARB air compressor included. This option is perfect for customers who already own a compressor or prefer to source their own.

You still receive all dual battery wiring, fusing, the air chuck in the power console and every component normally built into our compressor-equipped kits. The only items not supplied are the contents of the ARB compressor box itself, wiring for air compressor and switching. Everything else is professionally pre-assembled, integrated, and ready to bolt straight in.

FAQs

Wait, I thought you couldn’t have a lithium battery in the cabin?

Actually, you can – because the cab of a 79 Series isn’t considered a living space. The rules that require lithium batteries to be in sealed, vented enclosures only apply when the battery is installed in a certified living area, like a caravan or camper. Inside a vehicle cab, that requirement doesn’t apply. And for peace of mind, the Invicta lithium battery we supply is IEC certified and fully compliant for in-cab installation.

Will this fit my 79 Series?

Yes – this kit fits all 79 Series Dual Cab models, including both pre-facelift and facelift. It mounts behind the rear seats, so it doesn’t take up any floor or tray space.

What’s included in the kit?

Custom full-length aluminium tray, 100Ah Invicta Super Slim Lithium Battery, ARB brushless air compressor, Redarc DC-DC charger of your choice (Core 40A, Classic 40A, or Alpha 50A), pre-wired passenger-side socket pod (with USB, 12V, Andersons, air chuck and compressor switch), full fuse setup, looms, hardware, and instructions.

Can I run the compressor with the engine off?

Yes – the 100Ah Invicta lithium supports 150A continuous discharge, so it can power the ARB compressor without needing the vehicle to be running.

Why the Invicta Super Slim?

It’s lightweight, Bluetooth enabled, handles high current, and comes with a 7-year warranty. Tough and proven for 4WD setups.

Which Redarc charger should I choose?

Core 40A – compact and cost-effective

Classic 40A – rugged and waterproof

Alpha 50A – premium smart charger with jump-start, app monitoring, and alternator pull control

Does this kit work with child restraints?

Yes. The 200Ah tray is fully compatible with child restraints. The tray’s mounting holes are positioned on either side of the child restraint anchor point, so installation does not interfere with its use.

Shipping

This kit has a one-week build time before dispatch. Once assembled, it will be shipped via TNT.

If your order includes a lithium battery, please note it will be classified as Dangerous Goods. These shipments often pass through multiple checkpoints and may experience additional delays. Unfortunately, due to the nature of Dangerous Goods, couriers are unable to provide accurate estimated delivery dates.

Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number. If you don’t see regular tracking updates through the link provided, we recommend calling TNT directly on 13 11 50 with your tracking number. As the shipment is now in the hands of the courier, it’s best for the receiver to contact TNT directly for updates.
