Dual Battery – Prado LC250 Series – Underfloor DIY Kit - With Jumpstart Feature 

The first-to-market DIY Dual Battery Kit designed specifically for the Prado 250 Series LandCruiser – built for off-road and off-grid adventures.

This kit fits neatly under the rear floor (boot) of both 5-seater and 7-seater Prado 250s, giving you serious 12V power without sacrificing storage space. With a 100Ah Invicta Slimline Lithium Battery, Redarc DC-DC charging, and a custom socket bank, this is the easiest dual battery install we’ve ever created.

  • No Battery - Bring your own, you may need to drill your own mounting holes, not battery mounting hardware provided, standoffs and standoff mounting hardware provided. If this option is selected DC charger will be programmed to lithium and connect to battery will be cut cable with no termination.
  • Itech World Super Slim 100Ah Lithium - ultra-slim LiFePO₄ battery with Bluetooth monitoring, a lightweight 14.3 kg design and a 5 year full replacement warranty. 100A continuous discharge capacity.
  • Invicta Super Slim 100Ah Lithium – 5-year full replacement warranty, Bluetooth monitoring via app, safe LiFePO4 technology. 150A continuous discharge capacity. ( No longer comes with display screen)

FAQs

Does this fit with false floors?

Yes, it currently fits with the RV Storage Solutions false floor. It fits with many other false floors as well, but slight modifications may be required. We haven’t tested these in-house, but some customers have successfully modified their false floors to suit the kit. Soon, you’ll be able to purchase this underfloor dual battery kit bundled with an RV Storage Solutions false floor for a complete package.

Does this kit fit both 5 and 7 seat Prado 250 models?

Yes, the kit is designed to fit under the rear floor of both 5-seater and 7-seater Prado 250 Series LandCruisers.

Do I need to drill holes to install the kit?

No, the tray mounts using factory threaded holes, making this a true no-drill installation.

Which DC-DC charger should I choose?

The Redarc Core 25A is a cost-effective option for in-cabin installs, the Classic 25A is waterproof and heat-resistant, and the Alpha 25A adds premium features like start-battery recharge and Green Power Priority™.

What can the socket banks power?

Depending on the configuration you choose, the socket bank can run fridges, charge devices via USB, and provide Anderson plug outputs for solar or caravan charging.

Shipping

This kit has a one-week build time before dispatch. Once assembled, it will be shipped via TNT.

If your order includes a lithium battery, please note it will be classified as Dangerous Goods. These shipments often pass through multiple checkpoints and may experience additional delays. Unfortunately, due to the nature of Dangerous Goods, couriers are unable to provide accurate estimated delivery dates.

Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number. If you don’t see regular tracking updates through the link provided, we recommend calling TNT directly on 13 11 50 with your tracking number. As the shipment is now in the hands of the courier, it’s best for the receiver to contact TNT directly for updates.
