The perfect DIY 79 Series Charge Harness 


Our Charge Harness for the 79 Series LandCruiser is designed to make your DIY dual battery install as smooth and tidy as possible — especially if you're building your own system and want to run your own DC-DC charger and but use our 79 trays.

This is the same charge harness we include in our full 79 Series Behind-Seat Dual Battery Kits. It’s fully pre-wired, fused, and terminated — designed to run from your start battery, along the chassis, and up through the rear cab grommet to the back of your cab.

This harness is perfect for anyone building a custom setup who wants a clean, reliable wiring solution without the hassle of figuring it all out from scratch.

  • Designed to run from the start battery through the engine bay, along the chassis, and into the cab
  • 6.2m cable length — pre-terminated, lugged, and fused
  • Includes ignition source wire with piggyback terminal for easy fuse box connection (as per our install instructions)
  • Supplied with self-winding sleeve, bracket for fuse holder mounting, and blue Anderson plug for in-cab connection
  • Designed to plug straight into our rear-mounted dual battery kits — or your own custom setup

Fuse Options

Choose the correct fuse based on your DC-DC charger size:

  • 🔧 20A or 25A Charger → Select 40A MIDI fuse
  • 🔧 40A or 50A Charger → Select 60A MIDI fuse

Please Note:
This Charge Harness is designed to pair with our 79 Series battery tray and plug directly into our rear Anderson input. If you're installing a different system, just confirm compatibility with your setup before purchasing.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

This kit has a 2 business day fulfilment time. This means your order will be picked, assembled (if required), and prepared for dispatch within two business days of purchase.

Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor the progress of your delivery.

Estimated delivery timeframes within Australia:

  • Standard Shipping: 5 – 7 business days
  • Express Shipping: 3 – 5 business days

Please note:

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on your location and the shipping carrier.
  • Delivery timeframes do not include the 2 business day fulfilment time.
  • Tracking updates may take time to appear after dispatch while the carrier processes the shipment.
  • Once your order has been dispatched, it is in the hands of the shipping carrier. For delivery updates, delays, or enquiries, we recommend contacting the carrier directly using your tracking number.

We take care to ensure your order is securely packaged and dispatched as quickly as possible.

Returns Policy – 30 Days

We offer a 30-day return period from the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be:

  • In as-new, resellable condition
  • Unused and uninstalled
  • In the original packaging, including all supplied components and hardware
  • Free from damage, modification, or signs of installation

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Once the returned product has been received and inspected, and meets our return criteria, a refund will be processed to the original payment method.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange a product for a different item, the following applies:

  • The original product must be returned in as-new, resellable condition, in original packaging
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping cost to return the original product
  • The customer is also responsible for the shipping cost of the replacement product being sent out

Once the original item is received and inspected, we will arrange dispatch of the replacement product.

Important Notes

  • We recommend using a tracked shipping service when returning products, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
  • Accelerate Off-Grid Touring reserves the right to inspect and verify the condition of all returned items before approving refunds or exchanges.
  • Products that have been installed, modified, damaged, or are missing components may not be eligible for return.

Can I use this harness with a different dual battery system?

Yes – while it's designed to plug straight into our rear-mounted kits, it can be used in custom setups too. Just check that your system's connections and layout are compatible.

What fuse size should I choose?

If you're using a 20A or 25A DC-DC charger, select the 40A MIDI fuse. For 40A or 50A chargers, go with the 60A MIDI fuse.

Does it come with everything I need for install?
