Description

Wiring your own dual battery system into a 79 Series LandCruiser comes down to one thing: getting the run from your start battery to the back of the cab right. This Charge Harness is the exact loom we build into every 79 Series Behind-Seat Dual Battery Kit — pre-wired, fused and terminated, ready to run from the engine bay, along the chassis and up through the rear cab grommet to your battery tray.

It's built for the DIY installer who wants a factory-grade wiring solution without sourcing cable, lugs, fuses and connectors separately and working out the run from scratch. Pair it with your own DC-DC charger and either of our 79 Series battery trays, and you've got the same charge path used in our complete kits — you just choose your own charger and fuse rating to suit.

Every harness runs 6.2m of 6 B&S twin-core cable, with the ignition feed, fuse holder and Anderson plug already terminated. Select the fuse to match your DC-DC charger and it's ready to install.

Fuse Options

This harness is supplied with either a 40A or 60A MIDI fuse — select the one that matches your DC-DC charger:

  • 20A or 25A DC-DC Charger → 40A MIDI Fuse
  • 40A or 50A DC-DC Charger → 60A MIDI Fuse

Matching the fuse to your charger protects your wiring without limiting charger output.

Designed and assembled in-house on the Sunshine Coast, this charge harness is backed by our 2-year Accelerate workmanship warranty. The fuse, fuse holder and terminals are covered by their respective supplier warranties.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

This kit has a 2 business day fulfilment time. This means your order will be picked, assembled (if required), and prepared for dispatch within two business days of purchase.

Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor the progress of your delivery.

Estimated delivery timeframes within Australia:

  • Standard Shipping: 5 – 7 business days
  • Express Shipping: 3 – 5 business days

Please note:

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on your location and the shipping carrier.
  • Delivery timeframes do not include the 2 business day fulfilment time.
  • Tracking updates may take time to appear after dispatch while the carrier processes the shipment.
  • Once your order has been dispatched, it is in the hands of the shipping carrier. For delivery updates, delays, or enquiries, we recommend contacting the carrier directly using your tracking number.

We take care to ensure your order is securely packaged and dispatched as quickly as possible.

Returns Policy – 30 Days

We offer a 30-day return period from the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be:

  • In as-new, resellable condition
  • Unused and uninstalled
  • In the original packaging, including all supplied components and hardware
  • Free from damage, modification, or signs of installation

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Once the returned product has been received and inspected, and meets our return criteria, a refund will be processed to the original payment method.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange a product for a different item, the following applies:

  • The original product must be returned in as-new, resellable condition, in original packaging
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping cost to return the original product
  • The customer is also responsible for the shipping cost of the replacement product being sent out

Once the original item is received and inspected, we will arrange dispatch of the replacement product.

Important Notes

  • We recommend using a tracked shipping service when returning products, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
  • Accelerate Off-Grid Touring reserves the right to inspect and verify the condition of all returned items before approving refunds or exchanges.
  • Products that have been installed, modified, damaged, or are missing components may not be eligible for return.
