Description

Take your N80 Hilux’s off-grid capability to the next level with a complete 220Ah dual battery system hidden neatly behind the rear seat. Designed to suit both 48V and non-48V N80 Hilux variants, this high-capacity system provides serious power for fridges, lighting, inverters, tools and touring accessories without taking up valuable cabin, tub, tray or canopy space. Once installed, the entire system remains concealed and secure, maintaining full rear-seat functionality and a clean, factory-style interior.

Every major component has been designed, mounted and pre-wired to work together as one integrated system. The custom 3mm aluminium tray securely houses the 220Ah lithium battery, Victron solar regulator, SmartShunt, circuit protection and Anderson connections, with the cabling cut to length, terminated, protected and clearly organised. There’s no need to source separate components, calculate cable sizes or design a charging system from scratch—simply install the tray using the supplied vehicle-specific mounting hardware, route the pre-terminated charge harness and connect everything together.

At the heart of the kit is an Australian-designed 220Ah slimline lithium battery with a 40A DC-DC charger built directly into its powder-coated aluminium enclosure. A dedicated 15A Victron solar regulator handles portable solar input, while the included Victron SmartShunt provides accurate Bluetooth monitoring of battery capacity, voltage, current draw and power consumption. With configurable rear wiring and socket-box options available, this is the ultimate hidden-power upgrade for Hilux owners wanting maximum capacity, straightforward operation and professional auto-electrical performance in a genuinely DIY-friendly package.

Rear Power Add-On Options

No Rear Wiring

  • No rear wiring is included.
  • If you plan to build your own setup, you can wire directly from the system, giving you complete flexibility to customise your rear power layout.

Rear Anderson Wiring Only

  • Includes 5.5 metres of 6mm twin-core cable with durable self-binding sheathing.
  • Pre-terminated to plug directly into the 3 Anderson outputs on the Behind-Seat Dual Battery Kit.
  • Finished with:
    • 1 x Red Anderson (solar input from rear)
    • 2 x Grey Anderson outputs (12V power at rear)
  • Perfect if you want flexible output options—flush mount into your canopy or tub, plug into your own socket box, or run direct to accessories.

Rear Wiring + Socket Box

  • Everything included in the rear Anderson wiring option, plus our universal rear socket box for a complete plug-and-play setup.
  • The socket box features:
    • 1 x Grey Anderson output
    • 1 x Red Anderson (solar input)
    • 2 x USB (A/C) ports

Integrated Battery Monitoring (Victron Smart Shunt Included)

The 220Ah LBS battery does not feature built-in Bluetooth monitoring, which is why this kit includes a Victron Smart Shunt as a standard component. This provides accurate, real-time battery data via Bluetooth, allowing you to monitor state of charge, voltage, current draw, and overall system performance.

With the Smart Shunt already integrated into the system, you get full visibility over your power usage without needing a battery with inbuilt monitoring—ensuring a complete and reliable off-grid setup straight out of the box.

Shipping Policy

This kit has a 7 business day fulfilment time. This means your order will be picked, assembled (if required), and prepared for dispatch within two business days of purchase.

Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor the progress of your delivery.

Estimated delivery timeframes within Australia:

  • Standard Shipping: 5 – 7 business days
  • Express Shipping: 3 – 5 business days

Returns Policy – 30 Days

We offer a 30-day return period from the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be:

  • In as-new, resellable condition
  • Unused and uninstalled
  • In the original packaging, including all supplied components and hardware
  • Free from damage, modification, or signs of installation

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Once the returned product has been received and inspected, and meets our return criteria, a refund will be processed to the original payment method.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange a product for a different item, the following applies:

  • The original product must be returned in as-new, resellable condition, in original packaging
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping cost to return the original product
  • The customer is also responsible for the shipping cost of the replacement product being sent out

Once the original item is received and inspected, we will arrange dispatch of the replacement product.
