Q – Can I still use the Cover for the factory Tow Bar when this bracket is installed? A –Yes the factory tow bar cover can still be used, however there are two plugs on the bottom that are used to secure the cover more firmly than the clips on the cover. When this bracket is installed, the passenger side plug cannot be used as it was important to keep the bracket as high as possible.

A –Yes the factory tow bar cover can still be used, however there are two plugs on the bottom that are used to secure the cover more firmly than the clips on the cover. When this bracket is installed, the passenger side plug cannot be used as it was important to keep the bracket as high as possible.

The LandCruiser has always been a very popular tow vehicle and the latest models come with a high resolution display. So it makes sense to utilise this screen to view a caravan camera image rather than add unsightly additional displays to the dash or windscreen.

You can activate the caravan camera image while driving forward without interrupting the audio from the cars sound system. All you need to do is long press the factory MENU button and the camera image will display, just like a rear view mirror. The system can even be configured to use the Landcruisers touch screen to switch between up to 4 cameras. (Additional part required)

On top of that, we have added a function that, when activated, will allow the Caravan/Trailer camera to show up automatically when you put the vehicle in reverse, rather than the factory camera. You can choose when you want to activate/deactivate this feature, again with a long press of the factory MENU button while the vehicle is in reverse gear.

Q: Will my Caravan Camera cable need an adapter? A:Our systems have a Female RCA connection for the caravan camera (see below image #1). Most Caravan Cameras will have a multi-pin plug so an adapter from this connection to a Male RCA is normally required. An example is below in image #2. If you are unsure, please feel free to get in touch with us, send us a picture and we will be able to advise what you will need.

Q: My Caravan Camera has a microphone on it, will this system integrate the audio through the vehicles Audio system and speakers? A: Unfortunately not. For this to be possible the vehicle needs to have an Auxiliary Input and the 300 Series with the 12 inch screen does not have one.

Q: When I go into reverse, it shows a black screen, is there something wrong? A: Usually a black screen in shown when the Caravan Camera in reverse functionality has been activated but the Caravan has been disconnected from the vehicle – that’s why it’s not showing any image on the screen.

To change back to the Reverse Camera image:
