79 Series Dual Battery Mounting Tray – Built for the Big Gear

Want to build your own custom behind-seat dual battery setup for your 79 Series? This laser-cut aluminium tray is designed to mount behind the driver’s side rear seat and is compatible with all Single and Dual Cab 79 Series models, pre and post-facelift.

It’s the same premium tray used in our full DIY kits – precision-cut, matte black powder coated, and designed to suit slimline lithium batteries.

Note: This product includes tray and mounting hardware only. No wiring, charger, or battery is included.

FAQs

Will this tray fit my 79 Series LandCruiser?

Yes – it’s designed to suit all Single Cab and Dual Cab 79 Series LandCruisers, both pre- and post-facelift. It mounts behind the driver’s side rear seat without using up tray or floor space.

Does this tray interfere with factory child restraints?

No – this tray has been specifically designed to avoid interference with the factory child restraint points. It can be used safely in vehicles with child restraints fitted.

What components is this tray designed to work with?

It’s built to house slimline lithium batteries like the Invicta 100Ah or 200Ah Super Slim, and is compatible with REDARC Core, Classic, and Alpha BCDC chargers. It can also support setups that include an ARB brushless air compressor.

Can I customise the tray to suit my build?

Absolutely – while the tray is pre-drilled for common configurations, it’s made from aluminium and can be modified to suit custom setups. You can drill additional mounting holes or adjust the layout as needed.

Shipping

This kit has a one-week build time before dispatch. Once assembled, it will be shipped via TNT.

If your order includes a lithium battery, please note it will be classified as Dangerous Goods. These shipments often pass through multiple checkpoints and may experience additional delays. Unfortunately, due to the nature of Dangerous Goods, couriers are unable to provide accurate estimated delivery dates.

Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number. If you don’t see regular tracking updates through the link provided, we recommend calling TNT directly on 13 11 50 with your tracking number. As the shipment is now in the hands of the courier, it’s best for the receiver to contact TNT directly for updates.
