Designed for a clean, factory-style power upgrade, the Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series Under-Bonnet Dual Battery Kit delivers reliable off-grid performance without sacrificing interior or cargo space. Purpose-built for the LC300 platform, this plug-and-play system integrates seamlessly under the bonnet while maintaining a tidy OEM-style finish.

Add the Isolated Anderson Plug for caravan charging, ESC power for your van, or a Tow-Pro and trailer bracket for a complete towing and power solution.

Solar Input Options (Important for GR Sport Owners)
This system includes a RED Anderson solar input plug mounted on the front of the BCDC bracket for easy solar connection on standard 300 Series grilles.

If you have a GR Sport with the honeycomb grille, the front-mounted solar plug cannot be used due to grille clearance issues.
Instead, we will supply a dedicated under-bonnet solar mounting bracket so you can still run portable solar panels safely and cleanly.

No Battery – Internal battery space allows you to supply and install your own battery.

FAQs

I thought you couldn’t put lithium batteries under the bonnet?

You're right, most lithium batteries can’t go underbonnet. However, the Invicta Xero range is specifically rated and warranted for under-bonnet use. The internal BMS protects the battery by switching it off when it gets too hot and turning it back on once it cools. It’s super safe, and we’ve installed over 400 of these kits, both DIY and in-house here at our workshop in Maroochydore.

Can I add towing gear like an Isolated Anderson Plug, ESC, Tow-Pro, or a trailer bracket to this kit?

Absolutely. Just add those accessories when ordering and we’ll modify the kit to suit, including fusing, routing, and pre-wiring where needed so it’s all ready to go in one seamless install.

3I have a GR Sport with the honeycomb grille. How do I plug in solar if I can’t go through the grille?

No problem, just choose either the under-bonnet solar plug option or roof-mount solar input when checking out. You can still run a portable panel through a red Anderson plug mounted to your roof rack or wherever works best on your setup.

4Can I upgrade to the REDARC Alpha charger for jumpstart and start battery support?

5. Does this kit work with the factory battery and my existing setup?

Yes, this system mounts beside your factory start battery and works independently with your lithium auxiliary. It integrates seamlessly with your factory wiring, and you can still add solar, towing gear, or other accessories.

6. How hard is the install, can I do it myself?

This is one of our most DIY-friendly kits. It includes detailed PDF instructions, a full YouTube video walkthrough, and pre-wired looms that plug into factory bolt locations. No cutting, splicing, or guesswork needed.

Why isn’t my tailgate working after a dual battery install (300 Series)?

This is a known and harmless quirk that can occasionally occur on the 300 Series after electrical work such as a dual battery installation. In some cases, the tailgate control module may not immediately re-sync once the work is completed.

How to fix it:

  1. Close the tailgate fully (using the tailgate button or by manually closing it).
  2. Once the tailgate is shut, press Lock, then Unlock on the key fob or door switch.
  3. The tailgate should now operate normally.

No further action or repairs are required. This does not indicate a fault with the dual battery system or with the vehicle.

This kit has a 2 business day fulfilment time. This means your order will be picked, assembled (if required), and prepared for dispatch within two business days of purchase.

Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor the progress of your delivery.

Estimated delivery timeframes within Australia:

  • Standard Shipping: 5 – 7 business days
  • Express Shipping: 3 – 5 business days

Returns Policy – 30 Days

We offer a 30-day return period from the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be:

  • In as-new, resellable condition
  • Unused and uninstalled
  • In the original packaging, including all supplied components and hardware
  • Free from damage, modification, or signs of installation

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Once the returned product has been received and inspected, and meets our return criteria, a refund will be processed to the original payment method.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange a product for a different item, the following applies:

  • The original product must be returned in as-new, resellable condition, in original packaging
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping cost to return the original product
  • The customer is also responsible for the shipping cost of the replacement product being sent out

Once the original item is received and inspected, we will arrange dispatch of the replacement product.
