No. Elecbrakes is mounted to the trailer, so no in-vehicle brake controller is required.

Can I use the same trailer with multiple vehicles?

Yes. This is one of the biggest advantages of Elecbrakes. Any compatible tow vehicle can be used without modification.

How is the braking adjusted?

All brake gain and response settings are adjusted through the Elecbrakes smartphone app.
