Description
A pre-wired under-bonnet dual battery kit for the Ford Ranger Next-Gen and Ranger Super Duty, supplied with all mounting hardware so you can use the components that suit your vehicle.
This wasn’t the first under-bonnet dual battery kit built for these platforms, and that was never the goal. We let the early kits hit the market, looked at where additional support was needed, and used that knowledge to engineer a seriously solid under-bonnet dual battery system.
Every kit is built around a five-piece, laser-cut metal mounting system, with the battery tray, charger mounting strap, support arm and brackets working together to support the assembly across multiple vehicle mounting points. Installation uses existing factory mounting locations with no drilling or cutting required, and the kit arrives pre-wired and pre-terminated to simplify installation.
One kit includes all mounting hardware for both vehicle configurations. Simply use the hardware specified for your vehicle in the installation guide. Whether the additional battery support can be fitted depends on the shape of your vehicle’s mounting holes.
Circular Mounting Holes – Maximum Battery Weight 15kg
Earlier Ford Ranger Next-Gen vehicles with circular mounting holes cannot utilise the additional battery support bracket. These vehicles retain a maximum battery weight of 15kg.
Hexagonal Mounting Holes – Maximum Battery Weight 20kg with Additional Support Fitted
Ford Ranger Super Duty and 2026-onwards Ranger Next-Gen vehicles with hexagonal mounting holes can utilise the additional battery support bracket. With this support correctly installed, the maximum battery weight is 20kg.
Check your vehicle’s mounting-hole shape before selecting a battery, particularly around the 2026 model change. Receiving all hardware does not increase the weight limit on vehicles that cannot utilise the additional support.
Choose a REDARC Alpha 25A or Alpha 50A DC-DC charger, add an Invicta Xero lithium battery or supply your own compatible lithium battery, and configure your rear power with socket wiring, a 12V Distribution Box or a factory-style Ranger Socket Plate.
Important Fitment Information: The Ford Ranger Raptor is not compatible due to interference with the factory airbox. Further testing continues across Ranger variants and the Ford Everest before additional compatibility is confirmed.

The ITECH120X PRO has been physically fitted during our development.
The ITECH160X PRO 160Ah is not suitable for the regular Ford Ranger Next-Gen and is suitable for the Ranger Super Duty only.

Socket Options
No Socket Wiring
No rear socket wiring is included.
If you choose to add your own rear power system, you can connect directly to the MIDI fuse outputs located on top of the dual battery kit, giving you flexibility to configure the rear of the vehicle exactly how you want.
Socket Wiring Only
Includes 2 x lengths of 7 metres of 8 B&S cable with durable self-winding sheathing.
The wiring is pre-terminated to connect directly to the MIDI fuses under the bonnet and finished with two Anderson plugs at the rear.
Perfect if you want flexible output options – flush mount the Andersons, connect them to your own socket box, or use the cabling as the starting point for your own rear power setup.
Socket Wiring + 12V Distribution Box
Everything included in the Socket Wiring option, plus our 12V Distribution Box for a complete rear power solution.
The Distribution Box features:

Vehicle Compatibility
Ford Ranger Next-Gen – 2022 to Present
Mounting-hole shape determines which support hardware can be used and the applicable battery weight limit.
Vehicles with circular mounting holes cannot utilise the additional battery support and have a maximum battery weight of 15kg.
Applicable 2026-onwards vehicles with hexagonal mounting holes can utilise the additional support and have a maximum battery weight of 20kg with that support correctly installed.
Check the mounting holes on your vehicle before selecting your battery.
Ford Ranger Super Duty – 2026 to Present
Hexagonal mounting holes allow the additional battery support to be fitted, providing a maximum battery weight of 20kg with the support correctly installed.
Ford Ranger Raptor – Not Compatible
Not compatible due to interference with the factory airbox.
Ford Everest V6 – Compatible
Compatible with Ford Everest V6 models. All mounting hardware is supplied; use the brackets and hardware specified for your vehicle in the installation guide. Check the mounting-hole shape to determine whether the additional battery support can be fitted and which battery weight limit applies.
