Description

Safely supply power to your caravan or camper while travelling with our vehicle-specific Isolated Anderson Plug Harness for the Ford Ranger Next-Gen and Ranger Super Duty. Featuring 6 metres of heavy-duty 6 B&S twin-core cable, this harness is precisely cut, terminated and assembled for your vehicle, with no crimping or cable splicing required.

Every harness comes with a 100A isolation relay and twin MIDI fuse holder, wired and ready to connect, with the option to add our vehicle-specific Relay & Fuse Bracket for a fully pre-mounted, plug-and-play installation. The protected cable runs to the rear of the vehicle ready for connection near the factory trailer plug, and the twin MIDI fuse holder includes a dedicated position for an optional ESC power connection, with the ESC wiring kit available separately.

Please Note: This kit does not include a mounting bracket for the Anderson plug itself. To mount your Anderson plug at the rear of the vehicle for towing, add on our OEX Flat Mounting Plate or one of our vehicle-specific trailer brackets — available for both the Ford Ranger Next-Gen and Ford Ranger Super Duty.

Key Features

Vehicle-Specific Harness – Precisely cut and terminated for the Next-Gen Ford Ranger and Ranger Super Duty

Plug-and-Play Installation – Supplied pre-terminated with no cable crimping or splicing required

Heavy-Duty Cabling – Uses 6 metres of 6 B&S twin-core cable for a reliable power connection to your caravan or camper

Automatic Battery Isolation – The included 100A relay disconnects the Anderson plug supply when the vehicle is switched off, helping protect the start battery

Fuse Bracket Options – Choose our pre-wired, vehicle-specific Relay & Fuse Bracket for a fully mounted install, or the no-bracket option if you'd rather source your own mounting solution

Pre-Wired Relay & Fuse Protection – 100A isolation relay and twin MIDI fuse holder supplied wired and ready to connect

ESC Provision – Twin MIDI fuse holder includes provision for an optional ESC power connection

Protected Cable Run – Cable is covered in self-winding sheathing for additional protection throughout the vehicle

Anderson Plug Mounting – Not included as standard; add the OEX Flat Mounting Plate or a vehicle-specific trailer bracket to mount your Anderson plug for towing

Installation Accessories Included – Supplied with the Anderson plug, a packet of cable ties, and mounting hardware for the Relay & Fuse Bracket when selected

Configuration Options

Fuse Bracket Options

With Fuse Bracket (Recommended) – Our vehicle-specific Relay & Fuse Bracket arrives fully assembled, with the 100A isolation relay and twin MIDI fuse holder already mounted and wired. It bolts straight onto the factory battery bracket using the supplied nyloc nut, giving you a clean, ready-to-install mounting point with no extra wiring or fabrication required. Because the harness cable lengths are cut to suit this bracket's position, this is the option we recommend for a straightforward install.

No Fuse Bracket – Choose this option if you'd prefer to source or fabricate your own mounting solution for the 100A isolation relay and twin MIDI fuse holder. It comes at a lower cost, but you'll need to work out your own mounting location, and the supplied cable lengths are designed around the position of our Relay & Fuse Bracket, so fitment without it will take extra planning. We highly recommend the Relay & Fuse Bracket option for most installations.

Optional Add-Ons

Ford Ranger Next-Gen Trailer Bracket – A vehicle-specific bracket for a neat Anderson plug installation at the rear of the Ford Ranger Next-Gen

Ford Ranger Super Duty Trailer Bracket – A vehicle-specific bracket for a neat Anderson plug installation at the rear of the Ranger Super Duty

OEX Flat Mounting Plate – A flat mounting plate for mounting your Anderson plug at the rear of the vehicle

ESC Wiring Components – Can be added separately using the available provision in the twin MIDI fuse holder

Please Note: An Anderson plug mounting bracket is not included in this kit. Add the OEX Flat Mounting Plate or one of our vehicle-specific trailer brackets to mount your Anderson plug for towing.

FAQs

Does this kit come with a bracket to mount the Anderson plug?

No. This kit supplies the wiring, relay and fuse protection, but the Anderson plug itself needs a mounting point at the rear of the vehicle. Add on our OEX Flat Mounting Plate or one of our vehicle-specific trailer brackets to get a clean, secure mounting point for towing.

What's the difference between the OEX Flat Mounting Plate and the vehicle-specific trailer bracket?

The OEX Flat Mounting Plate is a flat plate that gives you a simple, low-cost mounting point for the Anderson plug. The vehicle-specific trailer bracket is purpose-built for your exact model, fitting neatly into the factory trailer plug area for a factory-style finish. Either option will mount your Anderson plug correctly — it comes down to whether you want the most integrated look or the more budget-friendly option.

I have a Ranger Super Duty — do I need a different bracket to the Next-Gen Ranger?

Yes. The Next-Gen Ford Ranger and Ranger Super Duty use separate trailer brackets, as the two models differ at the rear of the vehicle. Make sure you select the bracket listed for your specific model, or use the universal OEX Flat Mounting Plate if you'd rather not worry about model-specific fitment.

What's the difference between "With Fuse Bracket" and "No Fuse Bracket"?

With Fuse Bracket includes our vehicle-specific Relay & Fuse Bracket, fully assembled with the 100A relay and twin MIDI fuse holder already mounted and wired. It bolts straight onto the factory battery bracket, so there's no extra wiring or mounting work on your end. No Fuse Bracket leaves you to supply your own mounting solution for the relay and fuse holder, at a lower cost.

Can I run this kit without the Relay & Fuse Bracket?

Yes, but keep in mind the supplied cable lengths are cut to suit the position of our Relay & Fuse Bracket. If you go with No Fuse Bracket, you'll need to plan your own mounting location for the relay and twin MIDI fuse holder, and factor in whether the cable will comfortably reach that spot. For this reason, we recommend the Relay & Fuse Bracket for most installations.

Where does the Relay & Fuse Bracket mount in the vehicle?

It mounts onto the factory battery bracket using the supplied nyloc nut, positioning the 100A relay and twin MIDI fuse holder close to the battery while keeping the protected cable run tidy through to the rear of the vehicle.

Do I need the ESC wiring kit as well?

Only if you're running ESC (electronic stability control-compatible brake controller) power. The twin MIDI fuse holder has a dedicated position ready for it, but the ESC wiring components themselves are sold separately.

Will this fit my Ford Everest?

The harness has not been tested in-house on the Next-Gen Ford Everest, so we can't confirm compatibility. It's built specifically for the Next-Gen Ford Ranger and Ranger Super Duty.

Let me know if you want the shipping/returns/installation tabs added too, or if you'd like these saved to the project as the reference set for this product.
